In some ways though, 6 is the best so far; it has by far the deepest, richest gameplay and most well-developed mechanics. EDIT: Also, Civ 6 is an absolutely gorgeous game.Civ 4 is known as the best game with the classic civ simulator style. Civ 6 is the best with the modern direction with an emphasis on military tactics and deeper strategy.Civ 4 had the best diplomacy and "real world" feel to it IMO.
